DoCoMo intros FOMA 900i, 3G power phones
NTT DoCoMo has
announced its latest offering, the FOMA 900i series. The entire series is shipping with a Macromedia Flash browser, a first for 3G handsets. Expect to see them early next year. The notables in the 5-phone series are:
* Deco-mail - HTML enabled email, akin to that of desktop PCs.
* Chara-den - avatar based video phone chat where instead of real faces, animated characters are used.
* Chaku-motion - the use of both video and high-quality music to signal incoming calls.
* Up to 2-megapixel cameras
* Memory card slots
