Cell phones top Christmas lists for teens

According to a survey commissioned by Cingular Wireless, cellular phones top electronic gift lists for teens. This is pretty telling as it puts wireless phones above DVD players and video game systems. Another surprising statistic is that the cool factor of cell phones has gone down from last year:

"However, teens say they're less concerned with the 'coolness' factor of wireless phones. "It's cool/Can show off" dropped to 7 percent as a reason to want a wireless device as a gift, down from 13 percent in 2001."
