Research In Motion announced its newest BlackBerry handheld--the 7730. It is a tri-band GSM device, and sports a color screen (making it only the second BlackBerry to come with a color screen). You can purchase the unit starting today in the UK from carrier O2. A US release is not planned. Here's a quick round-up of the feature set:

* Cradle-free wireless email synchronization
* 16 MB flash memory plus 2 MB SRAM
* Use your own email address, including Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Domino powered accounts
