AT&T Wireless re-launched its mMode service yesterday. Included in the update is new content from RealNetworks and MSN. What's this mean for you?
bq.
MSN: If you have an MSN powered email address (hotmail for example), or use MSN Messenger, you'll be able to log on from your phone.
bq.
Real: Access to video/audio from well known outlets like ABC News, CBS MarketWatch, FOX Sports and The Weather Channel. This service is quite similar to what Sprint PCS is offering, but is half the price--$4.95 a month.
Other non-content changes to the new mMode include XHTML support, and a neat service that tracks current traffic conditions in 40 cities around the US.
