DoCoMo turns to Intel for new chip

NTT DoCoMo has
contracted with Intel to build chips for its next-generation phones. the chips will, "Allow users to enjoy audio and data communications and image processing at once."
As phones have gotten more complex, the chips that power them have become more important than ever before. Look for Intel to contract with more mobile phone makers in 2004.
