Nokia has announced the Nokia 5140. It's the first GSM phone with push-to-talk (PTT). Besides the VoIP GPRS powered PTT, it comes loaded with all the things you'd expect from a high-end Nokia handset:
* Tri-band GSM
* VGA camera
* Compass
* Flashlight
* EDGE high speed data
The phone will have two versions, one for the US market and one for the rest of the world. Both will be available in the second quarter of 2004.
The company also announced that from 2005 onwards, push-to-talk will become available for all Nokia GPRS/WCDMA phones.
