AT&T Wireless still having activation problems [updated]

Late last week we
reported that AT&T Wireless was unable to activate new GSM users due to a software glitch.
Reportedly, the company is
still backlogged. We've got to believe that a lot of customers have made use of the 30-day return policy.
Moreso, this bug could not come at a worse time. November 24th is just 2 weeks away. It wouldn't be surprising to see a huge discount coming down the pipe to affected customers that stick it out.
Update: It also looks like AT&T Wireless customers are unable to pay their bills online. This is especially frustrating for GoPhone customers that have prepaid services.
