Japan's cellphone shipments up for 8th month

According to the
latest reports, the number of new cellphones shipped in Japan has increased for the 8th straight month. This June, Japan saw nearly 5 million new handsets (up some 19% from a year ago). The growth is attributed to consumers upgrading to more powerful camera phones. [via
