Siemens to cut 2,300 jobs in handset division

In an attempt to cut costs further, mobile phone maker Siemens is
cutting 2,300 jobs in its handset division. This brings the total number of jobs Siemens has cut in its mobile phone division in the last two years to 4,000. Times aren't that hard though, Siemens said it plans to boost investment in advanced mobile technologies (mostly 3G).
