Samsung Intros Memory Cards
Samsung has announced mass production of multimedia cards (MMCs) to be used in mobile phones, digital cameras, MP3 players, and other handheld products. The cards are 128MB which sounds like a good amount of storage for a mobile phone. What's not clear is why there needs to be another standard--smart media and compact flash seem to do alright and already work in tons of devices.
