Intra-Office WiFi Phone

Cisco Systems is bent on building a WiFi powered phone. It's meant to work inside enterprise (we assume on the corporate wireless network) and since it doesn't work on anything else but WiFi, companies won't have to worry about employees running up the bill.
The device should be here in June with the model number 7920. There is no word yet on a flashier name--but we assume one is coming.
The Register has a
report on the device which it calls it,
"an early 90s GSM handset, only uglier - has two hour talktime and twenty four hours of standby time."
Update: Cisco has put together an
info page.
