Australia's First 3G Phone
As
reported earlier this month, Australia now has a 3G network. NEC
introduced the e606 for use on the new network, which makes it the first mobile hone in the country that can handle video calling.
The camera phone supports download speeds of 384kbps and upload speeds of 64kpbs which puts it on the level of low-end broadband.
It's also loaded with just about everything you can imagine:
* 16 Bit LCD Display
* Full Internet browsing
* Support for MPEG and WMA video files
* Download Java applications
* Just 109 x 53 x 32mm in size
You can buy it from
Three for $768 or $32 a month.
